Residential Concrete from H&A Concrete Sawing
Residential concrete is the work that shows up every day at your front door: the driveway you pull into, the patio you eat dinner on, the walkway your guests use, the garage floor under your truck. H&A Concrete Sawing handles all of it for Colorado homeowners, from a single set of steps to a full driveway replacement.
Concrete has to survive Colorado: freeze-thaw cycles, expansive clay soils, strong sun and winter de-icers. That is why the work that matters most happens before the pour: grading, a compacted base, solid forms, reinforcement, and control joints placed where concrete wants to crack. We build residential concrete with those conditions in mind, so it looks right on day one and keeps looking right years later.
We also run the sawing, removal, asphalt and striping side of the business. If an old slab has to come out first, the same crew cuts it, hauls it away and pours the new one.

Common Questions
Frequently asked questions
New concrete usually takes a day or two before foot traffic and about a week before vehicles, though it depends on the mix and the weather. We give you the specific timing for your pour. Concrete keeps gaining strength for roughly 28 days.
Concrete shrinks as it cures, so some cracking is normal. Control joints are cut or tooled in at planned spots so cracks form there and stay straight and tight. Good base prep and reinforcement reduce the chance of larger cracks.
Yes. We saw-cut, break out and haul away old concrete, then prep the base and pour the new slab, so you deal with one contractor from demolition to finish.
Requirements vary by city and by HOA. During the free estimate we go over what applies to your property and what to expect before work starts.
Concrete can be placed in cold weather when the right precautions are taken, but some jobs are better scheduled for milder days. We will tell you honestly what makes sense for your project.
